Description
This 400 BBL insulated storage tank was built in 2007 by GLM Industries L.P. of Battleford, Sask. to API 12F, Mod X, in water service. The vertical flat-bottom tank measures 12.0 ft diameter by 20.0 ft height in A-36 material, with 3/16 in. shell and roof, a 1/4 in. flat bottom, and an MDMT of 11 °F (Serial # 07-006-5). Spray-foam insulation and an internal flameless gas heater assembly keep contents from freezing through winter production, while the caged ladder and external level gauge allow safe gauging from top or grade. Heated, insulated 400 BBL tanks of this type are the standard for produced water and fluid storage at single-well batteries and water hubs across Alberta. The tank is offered in Used (C) condition, and the photo bears that out: the black protective coating over the foam is weathered, with chips exposing yellow foam around the lower nozzles and the bolted manway cover, which still carries a UN 1267 placard, and the tank stands in a lined containment berm with its ladder-equipped skid frame attached.
