EnviroVault ThermoVault – 400 BBL Treating Tank

The EnviroVault ThermoVault is a 400 BBL treating tank that combines storage with heat, used in upstream oil and gas production to warm crude oil emulsions so entrained water can break out and be drawn off. Manufactured by EnviroVault, the unit wraps the vessel in a full spray-applied insulation system and houses its heating equipment behind louvered, vented enclosures in the shell — factory placards reading 'Caution Hot Surface' and 'Do Not Block Vent Holes' mark the compartments. The insulated design holds process temperature efficiently through cold Alberta operating seasons, reducing fuel consumption compared to an uninsulated heated tank. With a nominal 400 BBL capacity and a weight of approximately 12,000 kg, it suits well batteries and satellite sites that need treating capacity without a full treater package. Based on image analysis, the black insulation coat is intact and in good order, the ThermoVault by EnviroVault signage and manufacturer's plate are still fitted, and coiled factory cabling hangs ready at the shell — a clean, complete used unit stored on gravel.
