Description
The DSI Fig. 66LUF-N is a bolted-bonnet, rising-stem globe valve designed for positive shut-off and throttling service in high-pressure process and pipeline applications. Sized at 2 in. and built to ASME Class 600 (1 480 psi @ 100 °F), this unit features a carbon-steel WCB body for broad chemical compatibility and a hard-faced (HF/Stellite) seat with 316 SS disc and stem (API Trim 12) to resist galling and erosion at elevated temperatures to 800 °F. Flanged RF ends to ASME B16.5 simplify installation, while the inside screw/yoke and handwheel provide reliable manual operation. Compared with commodity gate valves, the globe pattern delivers finer flow control and faster closing times, making it ideal for blow-down, control bypass, and isolation of steam, hydrocarbon, or utility lines. API 600 design, API 598 test and CE marking assure global code compliance.
