The Pressure Products Industries (PPI), now part of Sundyne, 4LX-122-080 is a high-pressure, two-stage, water-cooled diaphragm compressor designed for oil-free compression of gases like nitrogen, hydrogen, or helium in applications such as cylinder filling, gas boosting, and high-purity transfer. Built in 2014 (Serial M185), it features a 15 HP TEFC motor (230/460V, 3Ph, 60Hz), delivering nominal 15 SCFM nitrogen capacity at 6,000 PSIG discharge and 125 PSIG suction (12.1 SCFM at 100 PSIG inlet, 18.3 SCFM at 150 PSIG per performance curve). Advantages include contamination-free operation via metal diaphragms, hydraulic overpump protection (960/7,200 PSIG settings), and suitability for hazardous/corrosive gases versus piston types. Includes control panel, bootstrap system, and requires 12 GPM cooling water, ISO 68 oil. Used, serviced/tested condition shows clean paint, intact panels—no visible damage.
