Description
This 210 BBL double wall storage tank was manufactured by GLM Industries L.P. in 2007 to API 12F (modified) and is set up for DW water storage service on oilfield sites. The double wall construction provides built-in secondary containment between shells, while insulation and a heater keep contents from freezing through winter operation, and the EnviroVault enclosure puts the tank's valves and connections inside a contained, bolted-access compartment at grade. Together these features let the tank stand on lease without a separate berm and remain in service year-round in Alberta conditions. At a nominal 10 ft diameter and 15 ft height and roughly 6,000 lb, it fits standard lease layouts and moves as a light single load. The unit comes out of a CNRL asset recovery in the Medicine Hat, AB area. In the photo the tank is standing on location still connected to site piping: the corrugated galvanized insulation cladding is complete with only minor denting and staining, the bolted EnviroVault access panel is secured at the base, and an enclosure box and level display remain mounted on the shell.
